So Whats new About this the All new Osmo Action? GoPro Killer!!!
Hola
finally we’ve got something that can compete with one of the
dominating action camera giants i.e. GOPro, DJI have introduce their
Action camera that compete with Gopro. It’s belief that now DJI
Action camera will take over market because it has
some features that give it an edge over the competition.
Many of the filmmakers were waiting for gadgets something like
better specs similar to gopro but in less price. DJI has announced
it’s action camera will cost $350 dollar and will have both front
and back side screen.
The
interface is super easy to use, it’s based pretty much entirely
around touch and swiping. The touch screen on the back works
perfectly and that rear screen looks great. You’ve got three
buttons on the Osmo
Action itself,
the power and record buttons on the top and on the side you’ve got
the quick switch button. This allows you to quickly switch between
different modes like, video, photo, time lapse and HDR video and you
can actually customise what is included in the quick switch menu.
One
of the astronomically immense features of this camera is Rocksteady.
If you’re acclimated with GoPro, this is essentially DJI’s
version of the Hypersmooth Stabilisation and it works exceptionally
well.
Rocksteady
is the electronic image stabilisation in the camera and it can turn
your shaky video footage into nice, smooth video. It’s able to
assuredly abstract the shake out of things like running or any
handheld footage and give you super smooth results. It signifies that
strapping the Osmo Action to your bike or anything like that results
in very watchable footage rather than just a shake-fest. It does give
you remotely of a crop but the lens is so wide already that It never
felt like it mattered at all.

There's
no question that DJI has made an impressive camera. It’s without
question competition for GoPro…but, I’d stop short of calling it
a GoPro killer. It’s not that today, though, I believe they have
the majority of the right hardware in place to advance their position
over time.
The
things I like about the DJI OSMO Action would be the dual screen the
stabilization is as the designation implicatively insinuates – rock
solid, and the competency to have a non-fisheye mode for *every*
resolution/frame rate is immensely colossal. On a GoPro I’m
circumscribed to 2.7K/60FPS for linear (non-fisheye), whereas on the
DJI OSMO Action I can go to 4K/60 (with stabilization on
additionally!).
